Privacy Policy — Walk Thru Manager
This Privacy Policy describes how Walk Thru Manager (the “App”) handles information when you use it on your iPhone. The App is designed for local-first property walkthrough inspections: your inspections, photos, audio recordings, and notes stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them another way.
Summary
- Inspection data — including property addresses, room notes, transcripts, photos, and audio — is stored locally on your device, not on PaprikaTech servers.
- We do not operate a cloud sync service that stores your inspection content on PaprikaTech systems.
- Speech recognition runs on your device using Apple’s Speech framework to turn voice notes into structured text.
- We use TelemetryDeck for limited, non-content analytics to improve the App — never your addresses, note text, transcripts, or audio.
- Subscriptions and purchases are processed through Apple and validated via RevenueCat as described below.
1. Information stored on your device
Inspections and checklist content
- Information you enter in the App — such as property addresses, room and cell notes, inspection metadata, and template choices — is stored locally using Apple’s on-device storage technologies (including SwiftData).
- PaprikaTech does not sync this content to PaprikaTech servers.
Photos and audio
- Photos and audio recordings you attach to inspection cells are saved in the App’s sandbox on your device (under Application Support).
- These files remain on your device unless you delete them, delete the inspection, or uninstall the App.
Voice transcription
- When you record a voice note, the App may use on-device speech recognition to produce text notes for the selected cell.
- Transcription processing occurs on your device through Apple’s system services; PaprikaTech does not receive or store your audio or transcripts on its own servers.
2. What we do not collect or store
PaprikaTech does not maintain a server archive of your inspection content, including:
- Property addresses or location details
- Voice recordings or audio files
- Transcripts or written notes
- Photos you attach to cells
If you export a PDF or share content by email, AirDrop, or another app, you control what leaves your device through those channels.
3. Information sent to third parties you use
Depending on how you use the App, the following services may apply:
- Apple (iOS, App Store, system permissions such as camera, microphone, photo library, and speech recognition)
- RevenueCat — if you subscribe or purchase report credits, RevenueCat processes subscription and purchase-related information to validate premium access. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
- TelemetryDeck (see Section 4)
4. Analytics (TelemetryDeck)
We use TelemetryDeck, which is designed with a privacy-first approach, to collect aggregated usage signals so we can understand how the App is used and improve stability and features.
TelemetryDeck may use an anonymous, per-install identifier to distinguish sessions (not your name or inspection content).
Typical examples of what we track (not an exhaustive list):
- App launched
- Inspection created (template type only — not the address or notes)
- Photo attached to a cell
- Cell recording started or completed
- Cell audio replayed
- PDF exported (template type only)
- Paywall shown or purchase completed (product identifier only)
What we do not intend to send via TelemetryDeck:
- Property addresses
- Voice recordings, transcripts, or note text
- Photo or audio file metadata tied to identifiable property content
TelemetryDeck’s handling of data is also subject to TelemetryDeck’s privacy policy. We use this data for product improvement, not to sell your inspection content.
5. Information you send to us voluntarily
If you contact support by email, you decide what to include. Support messages may contain device or app version details to help us troubleshoot. We use support correspondence only to respond and improve the product.
6. Permissions
The App may ask for permissions such as:
- Camera — to capture condition photos during walkthroughs
- Photo Library — to attach existing photos to inspection cells
- Microphone — to record voice notes
- Speech Recognition — to transcribe voice notes on device
You can change many permissions in iOS Settings. Some features will not work without required permissions.
7. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at support@PaprikaTech.io.
8. Security
We rely on Apple’s platform security and on-device storage to protect your inspection data on your phone. No method of storage is 100% secure; you are responsible for safeguarding your device and any exports you share.
9. International users
If you use the App outside the United States, your information may be processed on your device and by third parties (such as Apple, RevenueCat, and TelemetryDeck) under their own policies and locations.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
